Dr. Thiel is a dedicated family physician with a special interest in women’s health. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Alberta, where she developed expertise in providing comprehensive primary care, focusing on the unique healthcare needs of women. Dr. Thiel is passionate about preventive care and building strong relationships with her patients. Her clinical interests include reproductive health, menopause management, contraception including IUD and Nexplanon insertions and early prenatal care. She also works with the University of Alberta’s Cross Country team, providing medical support to athletes. Outside of work, she enjoys running and spending time with her family.
